Would have been damn near finished tonight, but a work meeting got in the way of that. :( My birthday is this weekend, so I probably won't get back to this until Sunday. I'm not sure about the highlights on Spider-Woman's costume. I might still edit them, or even remove them completely, what do you think?

Alex Owens asked me to clean up the line-art to this piece he did and flat it for him. I decided I wanted to color it too. He's doing his version, but I got inspired by all the pretty ladies. Plus it was a chance to take a break from all the sequential pages I've been flatting for practice pages. Flatting is no fun at all.

Alice on Shrooms...

This was a thank you gift for my friend Lan who helped me in scoring a few awesome pieces of art. He had this drawn by Ted Naifeh and gave me a loose idea on the feeling he wanted. First is the finished piece, then the holds only, then all the lines hidden. I had a lot of fun coloring this piece. Didn't really take that long either, surprisingly.

Damn zombies stole my shoes...

This is a commission I finished up a couple weeks ago, drawn by Marcus To. The lines were pretty open, so I had a lot of room to play. I wanted something very atmospheric and dreary (the dude is surrounded by zombies after all), and I had time to experiment, so I implemented the fog and rain. I like how it came out. The watermark is on the final because it's a commission, and the other version has the line-art hidden, only the holds are showing.
